Building a stronger Madadeni, one family at a time.
Insthaba Community Foundation works side by side with our neighbours to support learners, feed households, grow skills and care for those who need it most.
Who we are
A community foundation built by the people it serves.
Insthaba Community Foundation is a non-profit organisation based in Section 2, Madadeni. We exist to restore hope and dignity by opening doors to education, nutrition, skills and opportunity for children, youth, women and elders across our township and surrounding areas.
Our vision is a Madadeni where every household is able to thrive — where young people have a future to work towards and no family has to face hardship alone.
Ubuntu first
We believe a person is a person through other people. Every programme is shaped with — not for — the community.
Rooted locally
Our team lives and works in Madadeni, so we understand the daily realities our families face.
Accountable
Every rand and every hour given is used with care, transparency and respect.
What we do
Programmes that meet real needs
We focus our energy where it makes the biggest difference for families in our community.

Education Support
After-school homework help, reading clubs and school supply drives that keep learners in class and confident.

Food Security
Community food gardens and food parcel distribution so that no child or elder in Madadeni goes to bed hungry.

Youth Skills & Employment
Computer literacy, CV workshops and entrepreneurship training that help young people step into work.
